Join us for a creative journey as we meet once a week to explore various artistic techniques and materials. Each week features a unique project!

Week 1: Terrarium Making ๐ŸŒฟ

Objective: Create a stunning mini terrarium.

- Select a unique glass container to house your miniature landscape.

- Layer potting soil, ensuring itโ€™s a few inches deep for plant health.

- Choose small plants such as succulents or moss.

- Add decorative stones or small figurines for personalization.

- Consider light and moisture requirements for each plant.

Week 2: Candle making

- Gather materials: soy , wicks, fragrance oils, dyes, and containers.

- Learn wax melting methods using a double boiler, measuring according to container size.

- Add your chosen fragrance oils and dyes once melted, stirring well.

- Secure the wick in the center of your container before pouring in the wax.

- Allow the candle to cool and harden overnight.

- Trim the wick to the desired length and light your candle, enjoying its scent and significance.

Week 3: Crafting a Turkish Lamp ๐Ÿฎ

Objective: Create a decorative Turkish lamp.

- create coloured glass pieces for your mosaic pattern, focusing on vibrant designs.

- Use glue to attach each piece to the lamp frame, ensuring a snug fit.

- Add a light source inside the frame once the base is complete.

- Enjoy how the lamp casts stunning patterns and colors, reflecting on your design inspiration.

Week 4: Mosaic Tray Creation ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ

Objective: Design and create a mosaic tray.

- Choose a wooden tray to serve as your base.

- Collect mosaic tiles or colored paper pieces in various shapes and colors.

- Arrange the pieces on the tray without glue to visualise your design.

- Once satisfied, glue the pieces down, leaving space for grout if needed.

- Allow glue to dry fully and apply grout to fill gaps, wiping away excess.

- Admire the colors and patterns in your tray, reflecting on how it shows your creativity.

Week 5: Neurographic Art ๐ŸŽจ

Objective: Create a neurographic artwork.

- Take a blank sheet of drawing paper and use a black marker to create abstract lines and shapes.

- Allow your hand to move freely, connecting lines without a specific plan.

- Once lines are laid down, fill in spaces with colored pencils or markers.

- Choose colors that resonate with you during this mindful and introspective experience.

- After completing your artwork, reflect on the emotions and insights gained.

Week 6: Bracelet Making ๐Ÿ“ฟ

- Gather materials: assorted beads, jewelry wire or elastic thread, and clasps.

- Choose a theme or color palette that reflects your personality.

- Cut the elastic thread to your desired length, allowing for extra for knotting.

- String beads onto the thread, experimenting with patterns and textures.

- Secure the ends with a knot or attach clasps if using wire.

- Wear your creations or consider gifting them, celebrating the stories behind each piece.
